PHOENIX, AZ : 3 hospitalized following crash near West Valley freeway on Sunday, 16th April 2023

Phoenix Police officials say a person is dead following a crash near Interstate 10.

According to an initial statement by Phoenix Fire officials, the crash happened in the area of 51st Avenue and I-10. Initially, fire officials said three men were taken to the hospital in critical condition, but police now say one of the three people involved in the crash was pronounced dead on scene, while two others were taken to the hospital, with the extent of their injuries remaining unknown.
