Sutton, MA :Rhode Island motorcyclist killed in crash on Route 146 on Friday, July 10th 2015

A Rhode Island man was killed Friday night when his motorcycle crashed at the on-ramp from Purgatory Road onto Route 146 in Sutton.State police said troopers from the Millbury Barracks went to the area around 8:50 p.m., where a 2004 Suzuki crashed. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, state police said. They did not identify him.A preliminary investigation determined that speed was a factor in the crash, but the exact cause remains under investigation. Troopers from the collision analysis and reconstruction, crime scene services, and community action team sections responded.Sutton police and fire personnel and the office of the state medical examiner also assisted. No further details were available Friday night.
