Gadsden, AL : Two killed in fiery single-vehicle crash near Attalla on Saturday, March 4th 2017

A single-vehicle crash Saturday claimed two lives in Etowah County, Alabama State Troopers say.
John Clifton Daniels, 53, of Vandiver, was killed when the 2004 Ford truck he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree before catching fire.
Daniels, along with a passenger in his vehicle, Laurie Brown Daniels, 57, of Altoona, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred at 3:15 p.m. on U.S. 278 at the 121 mile marker, five miles west of Attalla. Troopers continue to investigate the crash.
