Holton, KS : Topeka man dies after being thrown from vehicle in Jackson County crash on Tuesday, March 21, 2017
A Topeka man died Tuesday after a crash north of Holton on US-75 highway, in rural Jackson County.
Anthony Bostick, 26, was northbound on the highway about 5 a.m. in a 2007 Mazda 6 when the car swerved left for an unknown reason and went into a field near 262nd. Bostick was thrown from the vehicle when it rolled, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
Jackson County sheriff’s deputies located the crash early Tuesday about 3 miles north of Holton, about 1 mile south of Jackson Heights High School, Sheriff Tim Morse said in an email.
Bostick likely wasn’t wearing a seat belt, according to the highway patrol.
