Altus, OK : Three teenagers die in crash east of Altus in southwest Oklahoma on Sunday, February 14, 2016

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says three teenagers were killed when the car they were in crashed near Altus.

The OHP said an 18-year-old; a 17-year-old; and a 15-year-old -- all from Altus -- died in the accident about 3 p.m. Sunday.

The OHP says the three were in a car traveling southbound on a county road just east of Altus when the car went off the roadway and struck a culvert.

A suspected cause of the crash was not immediately released.
