MEMPHIS, TN : Fatal crash near Millbranch on Thursday, November, 16th 2017

Police are investigating a deadly crash on the interstate early Thursday morning.

It happened on I-240 as the driver was traveling eastbound from Millbranch Road.

Memphis police say the car caught fire after the man hit a TDOT sign.

Several people helped get the man out of the car and tried to save him but were unsuccessful.

What led up to the crash and how the man died remain unknown.
