Red Wing, MN : One driver injured in Highway 61 crash near A.P. Anderson Park on Monday evening, February 20, 2017

A Hager City woman sustained non-life threatening injuries in a two-vehicle crash around 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, on Highway 61 near A.P. Anderson Park, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

A 2003 Chevy Suburban travelling southbound on Highway 61 collided with a 2014 Ford Focus turning onto the highway from Hanson Avenue, according to a State Patrol incident report. The driver of the Suburban, Rebecca Christine Hager, 22, was seen at Mayo Clinic Health System in Red Wing, the report states. The driver of the Focus, 71-year-old Lois A. Bosshart of Glenwood City, Wis., was not reportedly injured.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts and alcohol was not involved, the State Patrol says. Road conditions at the time of the crash were described as wet.

Red Wing fire and ambulance, Red Wing police and Goodhue County Sheriff's Office assisted on the scene.
