Findlay, OH : A motorcyclist was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Crystal on Wednesday, October, 18th 2017

A motorcyclist was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Crystal Avenue Wednesday night, the Findlay Police Department reported.

According to police, Brandon Silver, 23, of Findlay, was driving a 1998 Harley-Davidson north on Crystal Avenue, just north of East Melrose Avenue, at 7:09 p.m. when the motorcycle was struck by a 2007 Honda Civic driven by Darnesha Gales, 22, of Findlay. Gales was southbound on Crystal when she attempted to turn left into the Crystal Glen Apartments, police reported.

Silver was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco Ambulance for treatment of a head laceration, according to police.

Gales was cited for failure to yield at a left turn, police reported, and Silver was cited for violating the novice motorcycle helmet requirement.
