Walpole, MA : An accident on Walpole Street in Norwood on Wednesday, January, 31st 2018

An accident on Walpole Street in Norwood has left two two dead and two injured.

According to the Norwood Police, the accident involved a 2011 Dodge Ram and a 2011 Toyota Camry at 1:18 a.m. near 344 Walpole Street. Both vehicles had sustained extensive front-end damage.

Victoria Cody, 20, was pronounced dead at the scene. Cody was the driver of the Camry.

Officers said they found Alex Pandolfo, 22, in the front seat of the Camry but severely injured. Officers report he was transported to Norwood Hospital, where he died.

The third person in the Camry, was transported via helicopter to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Officers reported that passenger sustained serious injuries.

According to a press release, the driver of the Ram was found outside his truck with a leg injury and he was transported to Norwood Hospital.

Norwood Police and the Norfolk County District Attorney’s office are investigating the accident.
