New Orleans, LA : One person killed after hit and run crash on Highway 90 Friday January 1 2016.

New Orleans police say a man was struck and killed in a hit and run accident on U.S. Highway 90 westbound near the General DeGaulle Drive exit.
In a new release, police say the man's body was discovered around 3:34 a.m. Friday by a motorist. They say the victim's body was disfigured and lying in the middle of the roadway.
Investigators have not determined where the initial crash occurred.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members.
