Knoxville, TN : One person injured after a car crash on azewell Pike on Sunday night, Nov 29, 2015

One man is in the hospital after a serious crash on Tazewell Pike.

Officers say a man lost control of his car and crashed into a telephone pole near Scott Road at about 6:30 Sunday night.

Investigators say the man drove off the road and hit a concrete drain before crashing into the pole. Alcohol may have been a factor. The man was taken to UT Medical Center his condition is unknown.
