Twin Falls, ID : Cassia deputy involved in crash near Walmart in Burley on Friday, July 15, 2016

Idaho State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash involving a Cassia County Sheriff’s deputy Friday near Walmart in Burley.

Cassia County Undersheriff George Warrell said the crash involved Deputy Tim Pethel’s vehicle at 3:45 p.m.

Cassia County Sheriff Lt. Jason Rogers said Pethel was southbound on Overland Avenue when a woman pulled out of the Walmart parking lot in her vehicle and “ran into the patrol car.”

Rogers said there were minor damage and no injuries.

No other information was available Friday.
