Dundalk, MD : Single-vehicle crash leaves one dead on Thursday, August 10, 2017

Baltimore County Police Department Crash Investigators are investigating a single-vehicle crash in Dundalk that left one person dead early in the morning of Aug. 10.

According to police, preliminary investigation indicates that a Ford truck was traveling southbound on Dundalk Avenue at approximately 4:08 a.m. when it struck a median curb near Sollers Point Road, overturned and caught fire. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy.

The driver of the truck has been identified as Elier Rocha Jaquez, 27, of the 800 block of Shipfriend Road in Middle River.

The Baltimore County Crash Investigation Team continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
