A Hiram man was killed in a traffic collision Monday morning on C.H. James Parkway at Hill Road in Powder Springs, Cobb Police report.
Thony-Lourd Ciceron, 34, was in the backseat of a white 2016 Hyundai Accent heading south on C.H. James Parkway at about 7:40 a.m. when the driver, Ronald L. White, 32, of Marietta, attempted to turn left on Hill Road, according to Cobb Police Sgt. Wayne Delk.
The Hyundai crossed into the path of a 1990 GMC Safari driven by Torre D. Hayes, 39, of Marietta, and the two cars collided in the intersection, Delk said.
Ciceron was pronounced dead after being transported by ambulance to Cobb Hospital, Delk said.
White was taken to Kennestone Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, Delk said. Hayes did not require medical attention the scene.
Charges are expected at the conclusion of the investigation, according to Delk.
