FARMINGTON, CT : Farmington accident sends motorcyclist to hospital on Sunday, July 2, 2017
A motorcyclist was transported to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital after his vehicle overturned about 6 p.m. Sunday on state Route 88.
According to Sgt. Daniel Jesse of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, James Householder, 53, of Hadley, Pa. was driving a 2008 Harley Davidson eastbound on Route 88, when a 2004 Toyota driven by Dale Zajko of Middlefield, pulled out of a driveway on the southside of the roadway. Householder swerved to avoid the Toyota, lost control and overturned, throwing him from the motorcycle.
Householder suffered severe injuries and was taken to the hospital by West Farmington Fire Department.
Jesse said the vehicles did not contact, but the accident is still under investigation.
