Sacramento, CA : Girl seriously hurt in Ramona T-bone crash on Thursday, September 21th 2017
A 9-year-old girl was seriously hurt when a car she was in was broadsided by a mini van on Main Street in Ramona Thursday, authorities said.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 2:30 p.m. near 13th Street, the California Highway Patrol said.Fire crews freed the girl and her driver from the wrecked sedan they were in. The girl was unresponsive and had facial trauma, authorities said.
She was airlifted to Rady Children’s Hospital while the driver of the car, a woman between the ages of 18 and 20, was taken to a hospital by ambulance, authorities said. The woman also had suffered serious injuries.
The front-end of the mini van and passenger’s side of the sedan sustained most of the damage.
