Authorities say one person is dead following a multi-vehicle collision on state Route 73 in Saratoga Springs.

The Daily Herald reports city spokesman Owen Jackson says 72-year-old Lilllian Strickland of Cedar Fort died in the crash Tuesday morning.

Jackson says the 29-year-old driver of a Chevrolet Trailblazer had been heading eastbound when she veered over the center lane and struck Strickland's Cadillac Deville head-on.

A third car was also involved in the crash. The driver and passenger of that vehicle were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The driver who struck Strickland was transported to a hospital in fair condition.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
