Midland City, AL : Dale County High School band director killed in car accident with dump truck on U.S. 231 in Midland City on Wednesday, January 7, 2015
A crash this morning in Midland City claimed the life of the Dale County High School band director. It happened on US 231 near Hwy 134.
Killed in the crash was 24-year-old Sean Miller. Miller was in his first year as the band director at the school. His school bio says that he was an intern for Dothan City Schools last year and graduated from Troy University. He was a native of Bainbridge according to the bio.
Numerous facebook posts in the last hour have asked surrounding communities to be in prayer for Dale County.
The fatal accident is being investigated by the Midland City Police Department with the assistance of troopers with the Alabama Bureau of Investigation.
This is the second fatal accident in Dale County in less than a week.
