Denver, CO : 1 killed in crash involving tanker truck on I-76 near Federal Boulevard Wednesday morning, February 15, 2017

One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a tanker truck on Interstate 76 near Federal Boulevard Wednesday morning.

The Colorado State Patrol says the tanker hit a Chevy sedan, which caused the truck to go off the road and roll into an embankment. The truck driver was ejected during the crash and pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers did not report any injuries from passengers in the Chevy.

One lane in the area was closed while troopers investigated the scene.
