New Haven, CT : Man struck and killed while crossing street on early Monday morning July 7th 2014

New Haven police are trying to identify a man killed at the intersection of Ella Grasso Boulavard and Whalley Avenue.

Police tell that they believe the man was in the crosswalk when he was struck by a car at about 12:30 a.m. Monday.

They say the car had a green light and there were no skid marks on the road. They say the driver had not been drinking, stopped after striking the man and is assisting police in their investigation.

No charges have been filed.
