A 5-vehicle crash on Highway 98 in Walton County has caused multiple lane closures and power outages.
All westbound lanes of Highway 98 near Poinciana Boulevard are closed at the moment as crews work to clear the wreckage.
Walton County Sheriff's Office Spokeswoman Corey Dobridnia said there were downed power lines, and readers reported power outages. One reader sent a video that showed traffic being diverted through a plaza parking lot.
The WCSO said there was one confirmed injury in the wreck, and that person was transported to the hospital.
Gulf Power is on the scene now cutting off power to the area so crash victims can be removed
