LINCOLN, NE : Man killed in Gage County crash on Friday, 26th January 2024

The Nebraska State Patrol released the name of a driver of a pickup who was killed in a crash with a semi Friday morning.

NSP said that 21-year-old Ethan Thies of Sterling was killed after losing control on an icy highway in Gage County.

NSP troopers, Pickrell Fire and Rescue and Gage County Sheriff’s deputies all responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash on Highway 77 at Pickrell Road, north of Beatrice, around 6 a.m.
