Knoxville, TN : Bean Station man dead in multi-car crash on Rutledge Pike near Richland Road in East Knox County on Sunday, October 5, 2014

One person is dead after a multi-vehicle crash on Rutledge Pike near Richland Road in East Knox County around 12:10 p.m. Sunday. Tennessee Highway Patrol says 45-year-old Andrea Bonnell, of Rutledge, was crossing both lanes of traffic in her SUV when she hit 60-year-old Paul Jones' motorcycle. THP says the motorcycle went into and air and landed on the hood of a car driven by 50-year-old Benjamin Cooper, of Blaine, who was stopped on Hidden Valley Road waiting to pull into traffic. Jones, of Bean Station, died. Troopers say Bonnell was cited for failure to yield. She will not face criminal charges. Bonnell and Cooper weren't injured.
