Orange County, FL : Orange Avenue reopens after truck carrying scrap metal crashes on Tuesday morning, February 3, 2015

A large truck carrying scrap metal rolled over in Orange County on Tuesday morning, causing a traffic mess.
The crash happened shortly before 10 a.m. at Orange Avenue and Sand Lake Road, troopers said.
Southbound Orange Avenue was closed for hours while crews worked to move the truck and clear the area.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the driver of the truck, Jose Vazquez Rios, was traveling southbound on Orange Avenue when he lost control. The vehicle overturned onto its side and crushed scrap metal was thrown onto the roadway.
Truck driver Edwin Pelissier drove past the wreckage after being stuck in traffic.
"Safety is first. This is a reminder," Pelissier said. "I see this a lot and it helps me be more cautious when I am on the road."
Troopers said they are investigating the crash and citations are pending against Rios.
