SPOKANE, WA : Deadly crash at Sprague and Freya in Spokane Nearby roads closed on Thursday, 29th August 2024

Spokane police and other emergency units are at the scene of a deadly crash that occurred at the intersection of Sprague and Freya.

According to a Spokane Police Department (SPD) spokesperson, at around 2:30 p.m. today, 911 was alerted to a car crash at the intersection of Sprague Avenue and Freya Street involving a motorcycle and a semi-truck. SPD arrived on the scene promptly and closed the intersection.

The motorcyclist received emergency medical aid at the scene but later died to his injuries according to police. The driver of the semi-truck was contacted by police.
