Police say a 30-year-old Springfield man has died in a single-car crash in East Longmeadow.
The crash happened at 9:25 p.m. Monday on Chestnut Street. Police say the car veered off the road and hit a rock wall and a tree.
Investigators say passenger Daniel Federici and the car's driver were taken to Baystate Medical Center, where Federici was pronounced dead. The 34-year-old driver was treated for injuries that aren't life-threatening.
The crash is under investigation.
