Troopers said a teenager died in a head-on crash on Interstate 26 in Spartanburg County on Friday.
The three-vehicle crash happened on I-26 west near mile marker 35 occurred around 1:40 p.m. Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger said Taylor Ann Cromer, 18, of Spartanburg, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers said Cromer's car was headed east on I-26 when it crossed the cable barrier, hitting a Ford pickup truck head on that was headed west. Then a Dodge sedan hit Cromer's car, according to troopers.
All three people in the Dodge sedan and the driver of the Ford pick-up truck were taken to the hospital with injuries.
Cromer's cause of death is currently pending forensic examination, Clevenger said.
