DAVENPORT, IA : 1 dead after motorcycle crash in Davenport on Wednesday, 7th August 2024

Crews were on the scene of a crash in downtown Davenport on 5th and Brady Street Wednesday night.

According to police, an initial investigation found a motorcycle was traveling north on Brady Street at a high rate of speed.

The motorcycle was hit by an SUV that was crossing Brady Street westbound on 5th Street.

The motorcyclist, a 25-year-old man, was fatally injured.
