HUNTSVILLE, AL : Man killed after hit-and-run on Memorial Pkwy on Monday, 15th April 2024

A man has died after a hit-and-run incident Monday morning on Memorial Parkway.

According to the Huntsville Police Department, the incident happened around 1:30 a.m. after a man attempted to cross Memorial Parkway near Mastin Lake Road on foot outside of a crosswalk and was struck by a vehicle. Police said the victim was identified as Marquez Williams.

Williams was transported to Huntsville Hospital and later died from his injuries.
