Panama City, FL : Minor injuries reported in bus crash on Monday, 21st May 2018
Two children were transported to a hospital for minor injuries after a fender-bender involving two buses and an SUV on U.S. 231 Monday afternoon.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a bus carrying 20 students from the Boys and Girls Club driven by Stephen Scott of Panama City was traveling southbound on U.S. 231 when he failed to slow for traffic in time and rear-ended a Bay District School bus carrying 63 students, the impact of which caused the school bus to rear-end a Ford Edge SUV.
According to the report, Scott was cited for failure to take due care. Two students from the school bus were transported to Bay Medical Center with minor injuries at the request of their parents.
