Salem, OR : Pedestrian struck and killed in Salem street on Monday evening, January 5, 2015

Police say a 63-year-old man was struck and killed Monday evening when he walked into the path of a car on a Salem street.

Police say the driver cooperated with investigators and did not appear to be impaired or speeding.

The accident under investigation.
