Springfield, OH : Motorcyclist seriously injured in Springfield crash on Thursday, September 22, 2016

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a Springfield crash today.

Around 11:15 a.m. Thursday, a motorcycle and vehicle collided in the area of Fountain Avenue and North Street (U.S. 40) in Springfield.

The motorcyclist was taken to Springfield Regional Medical Center and then flown to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

The intersection is blocked and traffic is backing up.
