PORTLAND, OR : 1 dead after car crashes into Dolan Creek at Southeast Revenue Road and Orient Drive in Boring on Friday, 25th January 2019

An SUV lost control Friday morning and crashed into Dolan Creek -- killing the driver.

The single-vehicle incident happened along Southeast Revenue Road and Orient Drive in Boring.

When authorities responded to the scene, they found the overturned SUV in the creek and a body in the water. A dive and rescue team also responded and stayed on scene for hours -- searching the water for anyone else.

It's unclear what caused the driver to lose control, but the incident remains under investigation.
