ELDON, MO : Eldon Mo man dies in single-ATV crash on Saturday, 13th April 2024

A man from Eldon has died after an ATV crash Saturday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, around 4 p.m., 51-year-old Jimmy Burrus was driving his Honda Talon 1000X4 ATV on a private property.

The crash happened when the ATV overturned as it was attempting to go up a hill. The ATV overturned several times and hit several tree stumps before hitting a tree and coming to a stop.

Burrus was partially thrown in the process. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
