LAS VEGAS, NV : One dead in vehicle rollover crash on Las Vegas Blvd Walnut on Friday, 22nd March 2024

One person is dead after a crash that led to a vehicle rollover in northeast Las Vegas on Friday morning.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene on Las Vegas Boulevard and North Walnut Road around 3:11 a.m. Officers arriving at the scene located two vehicles, one of which had rolled over.

It was determined that a maroon 2017 Dodge Challenger was traveling speeding on northbound Las Vegas Boulevard, while a red 2014 Hyundai Accent was turning onto southbound Las Vegas Boulevard.

According to police, the force of the collision caused the Hyundai to separate into two parts, and the Challenger to overturn and roll.
