Jersey City,NJ : Driver, 28, killed in Mendham Township crash on December, Wednesday 13th 2017

A Bergenfield man died Wednesday morning after his van collided with a tractor trailer at a Mendham Township intersection, Chief of Police Ross Johnson said in a statement.

Anthony Echeverry, 28, was driving a van west on Rt. 24 shortly before 8 a.m. when he struck the truck, which was hauling sewage and was making a turn off Roxiticus Road, Johnson said. Echeverry was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident remained under investigation Wednesday night.
