KNOXVILLE, TN : WVLT/Gray people including baby, toddler killed in crash on I-40 on Monday, 1st July 2024

Three people, including two young children, died in a crash on I-40 East in Tennessee Monday morning, according to the Knoxville Police Department.

Police said a Honda sedan was driving east around 3:30 a.m. when it went off the road and hit a tree.

A 3-year-old and 5-month-old were pronounced dead at the scene.

According to officials, the driver and another passenger were taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.
