WINSTON-SALEM, NC : Crash shuts down part of Waughtown Street in Winston-Salem on Wednesday, 10th July 2024

Winston-Salem police said the 800 block of Waughtown Street from North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive to Urban Street is shut down completely due to a crash.

A representative from the police department said at 11:30pm last night, officers found a stolen car around Clemsonville Rd. and Sprague Street. The vehicle sped away before officers could use their emergency equipment.
