Wausau, WI : Semi driver killed in crash that spilled 5,000 gallons of gas on Highway 45 in southern Langlade County on Saturday, March 12, 2016

A 29-year-old man from Ringle died when he lost control of the semitrailer tanker he was driving and it overturned, the Wausau Daily Herald reports.

The crash occurred Saturday morning on Highway 45 in southern Langlade County, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

About 5,000 gallons of gasoline leaked from the punctured tank, and the Oneida County Hazmat Team responded.
