BURBANK, WA : College Place man injured in multi-vehicle collision on Tuesday, December, 5th 2017
Around noontime today, Walla Walla County Fire District #5 and Washington State Patrol responded to a multi-vehicle rear end collision involving three cars on Highway 124, six miles east of Burbank.
Walla Walla County Fire District #5 says the highway was being painted and flaggers were controlling traffic, and WSP says all three vehicles were eastbound on Route 124 at Milepost 6 when Timothy Gibson, 50, of Walla Walla struck a 2000 Chevrolet, which then hit the Toyota Camry of a Dayton driver in front of it.
The driver of the Chevrolet, Hector Miranda-Colin, 50, of College Place was transported to Lourdes Hospital in Pasco with minor injuries. All other occupants denied any injuries.
WSP says the cause of the accident is inattention and Gibson is being charged with 2nd Degree Negligent Driving.
