TOWN OF LIMA, WI : A Janesville man died, and a Whitewater woman was seriously injured in a head-on crash on May, Monday 1st 2017

A Janesville man died, and a Whitewater woman was seriously injured in a head-on crash on Highway 59 in the town of Lima around 5:43 p.m. Monday, according to the Rock County Sheriff's Office.

One of the vehicles crossed the centerline, said Sgt. Shawn Natter of the sheriff's office.

The crash closed the highway near Gould Drive for about four hours.

Each vehicle carried only its driver. The survivor was flown by helicopter for medical treatment. Identities were not released immediately.
