NASHVILLE, TN : Deadly crash closes interstate in South Nashville on Sunday, 28th April 2024

A young man was killed in a crash Sunday on Interstate 24, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

The crash that happened just before midnight on I-24 East near Harding Place and shut down the interstate for hours as police investigated. The preliminary investigation shows a Dodge Charger was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed and was passing other vehicles on the shoulder of the roadway when the driver, Daniel Lorezeno Tyler, lost control and hit a rock wall, police said.
