ST. LOUIS, MO : Driver hospitalized after crashing into house in De Soto on Wednesday, 26th June 2024

A driver crashed into a house Wednesday morning on Donna Drive around midnight in De Soto.

The homeowner spoke to First Alert 4 crews and said they saw a neighbor listening to music across the street, before hearing the person’s engine rev and the car accelerating. Shortly after, the homeowner says the person smashed into the side of their home.

The impact with the house knocked a motorcycle into a couch which injured two men who were sitting there. The driver of the car, a man, collapsed in the yard.

Authorities say the driver is the only person who was hospitalized.
