Driver dies after vehicle crashes into tree in Boring

A man died after his vehicle crashed into a tree in near a golf course in Boring Tuesday morning.
It happened at Amisigger Road and Kelso Road, near the Mountain View Golf Course, just after 10 a.m., according to Sgt. Robert Wurpes with the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.
The vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and went off the road, hitting the tree.
It’s unclear what caused the man’s vehicle to go off the road. Fog may have been a factor in the crash, Wurpes said.
The man was the only person in the car. His name has not been released.
