A Stanford woman was injured in a two-vehicle wreck at Fourth and Main streets in Danville Monday evening.

The wreck happened at about 5:10 p.m., according to Danville police.
Emily Pike, 32, of Danville was traveling west on Main Street when the Chrysler 200 she was driving collided with a Toyota Camry driven by Jennifer Richards, 38, of Stanford, in the intersection with Fourth Street, according to a news release.

Richards was treated at the scene and later transported by ambulance to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center for further observation. The extent of her injuries was not immediately available.
Danville Firefighters cleaned up spilled fluids from the wreck and both vehicles were towed from the scene. The eastbound lanes of Main Street were closed for around half an hour while responders cleared the scene.

Sgt. Josh Faulkner is the investigating officer.
