A 23-year-old Decatur man was arrested early Sunday, accused of crashing into the Rockies nightclub with his car and running from police.
Around 1:19 a.m., a Rockies employee told police, he saw a man hit the south side of the building on South Texas Avenue with an older brown four-door car, according to the report.
Employees pointed Bryan police to the man, later identified as Brandon Griffin, who was on the nightclub's patio. As officers entered to question him, he reportedly ran off.
According to the police report, other officers were able to catch up to Griffin and arrest him. He was booked in the Brazos County Jail on a charge of evading arrest, a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail and a fine up to $4,000. He remained in the jail Sunday evening with bail set at $5,000.
