Boise, ID: Baby, 3 others hurt in separate I-84 crashes on Friday, July 24th 2015
An infant and three others were injured in three separate crashes on I-84 near the Simco Road exit Friday night, according to the Idaho State Police.Officials say the first accident occurred when Justin Fitzpatrick, 21, of Mountain Home, was rear-ended by Steven Shelly, 50, of Meridian, after driving below the speed limit.Two passengers in Fitzpatrick's car, an adult and a baby, were taken separately to St. Alphonsus in Boise by ground and air ambulances.The second crash was a non-injury accident. 21-year-old Aaron Blackburn of Boise hit Marie Bare, 55, of Pocatello, from behind and then struck the side of 55-year-old Randall Jewett's Prius. A third crash sent two people to the hospital. David West, 26 of Twin Falls, slowed down for traffic and then was hit from behind by Natasha Richey, 20, of Mountain Home.Richey and her passenger James Mullis, 26, of Mountain Home, were taken by ambulance to St. Alphonsus. ISP had assistance with the crashes from Elmore County Sheriff's Department.
