KILLINGTON, VT : A Bethel man was injured in a two-vehicle crash on May, Saturday 6th 2017
A Bethel man was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday afternoon on Route 4, according to police.
In a press release, police said Theresa Pepin, 51, of Lowell, was driving west on Route 4 from Route 100 in a 2008 Chevy Malibu and Timothy Baptie, 36, of Bethel, was also driving west on the same road in a 2016 Toyota Tundra.
Police said Baptie transitioned his pickup truck from the right lane to the left lane to pass Pepin’s car. As the Tundra was passing the Malibu, Pepin attempted to turn left into the Killington Deli from the right lane, police said.
The Malibu struck the Tundra on the passenger side, along the rear passenger door.
The crash was reported around 2:30 p.m.
Baptie was taken by ambulance to the Rutland Regional Medical Center for medical evaluation. Police provided no details about his injuries. Pepin did not report any injuries.
The Vermont State Police were assisted by Killington Fire Department and Regional Ambulance Service.
