Street Racing May Have Caused Two-Vehicle Tulsa Crash
A witness told Tulsa emergency crews that street racing may have been the cause of a two-vehicle wreck on Interstate 244 Saturday morning.
Another driver told accident investigators that a black sedan was racing with another vehicle near the Southwest Boulevard exit in West Tulsa when the driver lost control and wrecked.
The sedan clipped a red and white truck sending both vehicles into the highway's center barrier wall. The driver and passenger in the truck were taken to the hospital.
Authorities did not have a description of the second car that may have been racing, and it did not stop.
