Monessen, PA : One-car crash near Route 981 in Bell Township sends 1 to hospital on Monday, January, 22nd 2018
One person was injured after being ejected from a vehicle Monday while traveling near Route 981 in Bell Township, officials said.
The single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Route 981 and Substation Road was reported about 6:10 p.m., a Westmoreland County 911 dispatcher said.
Bell Township and Avonmore fire departments responded.
The person injured in the accident — whose identity was not immediately available — was airlifted to a nearby hospital.
The extent of his or her injuries was not known.
Officials cleared the accident scene in less than two hours.
